ImpactZone Gun Club Rules
Membership is “At-Will” and is subject to suspension or revocation for inappropriate behavior. The following rules must be obeyed by everyone entering the Range:
Membership Card Required:
You must have your Membership card with you when you are at the range – in your wallet, your range bag, or your vehicle is all fine, but you must show it if asked.
Guests:
Members are allowed up to 2 Guests per visit, including Family. Additional Guests require prior approval and additional Fees. Contact the Range in advance to make arrangements.
Hours:
With certain exceptions, the Range is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. But only pistol caliber and suppressed weapons are allowed after 9pm. Nighttime/pre-sunrise shooters are strongly encouraged to message the Range that you’re on the property when it’s dark. Contact the Range for any specific clarifications needed.
Access:
Front Gate must remain closed and latched at all times. If the gate is open, close it & latch the chain. If no one is directly behind you when you enter or leave, close the gate & latch the chain.
Range Road:
Always observe the 10 mph speed limit. No dust. No splash. No exceptions. Stay on the roadway – off-roading is not permitted, and you will likely get stuck.
Parking:
Do not park blocking a bay you are not using. Passenger Vehicles are not allowed in the Bays – tactical placement of vehicles for training purposes is allowed with prior approval.
Trash:
The Range does not have public trash service. Everyone is responsible for their own trash – pack it in, pack it out. If you see trash on the ground, please pick it up and place it in the appropriate container or take it with you. Do not leave used targets on the Range. The biggest complaint from Range neighbors is trash.
Brass:
Members of ImpactZone Gun Club may pick up their range brass. Members may also collect abandoned brass but may not enter other occupied or in-use bays to do so. Shotgun hulls are considered trash and MUST be picked up and packed out by anyone/everyone.
Targets, Sticks, Stands & Props:
Random household items not designed, or typically intended, to be used as shooting targets are not permitted. NO EXPLOSIVE OR INCENDIARY TARGETS OR AMMUNITION ARE ALLOWED: This absolutely includes Tannerite, Dragon’s Breath, etc. – use of such completely violates the Range insurance, and cannot be allowed.
At the end of your session, return all sticks, stands, barrels, or props that are property of ImpactZone Gun Club to the appropriate racks, or other designated locations. If you place your own target hangers or stands, remove them at the end of your session.
Steel Targets may be used with the following conditions:
“Steel” does not include random household items not designed, or typically intended, to be used as shooting targets. All steel targets must be set up so no ricochets fly over the berms, off the property, or back towards shooters or observers. The Range is not liable for damage to any steel or for any injury or property damage resulting from its use.
Pistol rated steel:
• Use only pistol caliber rounds that don’t damage the steels.
• Shoot no closer than 7 yards
Rifle rated steel:
• Pistol calibers no closer than 7 yards.
• Intermediate caliber rifle rounds no closer than 50 yards.
• Full power rifle rounds no closer than 100 yards.
Full Auto:
Members must be pre-approved by the Range for Full Auto use, including Binary Triggers, Forced Reset Triggers, Bump Stocks, and other devices designed to increase firing rates. And Members must notify the Range prior to any visit using Full Auto or devices designed to increase firing rates. Call the Range with questions.
Privacy:
No audio or visual recording of persons or events without the expressed consent of property owner, organizer, and participants being recorded.
Reporting:
If you observe any violations, misuse of property or equipment, or other improper behavior or activity, please notify ImpactZone Gun Club owner immediately: Frank Tinsman, (346) 640-2634.
